When is the release planned?
We are planning to release Ardem in the second half of 2026 into Early Access on Steam.
Our goal is to further expand the game’s foundation, ensure a stable release without major game-breaking bugs, and implement enough long-term retention systems to provide players with many hours of fun, tension, and discovery.
How much will Ardem cost at release?
We currently expect an Early Access price between 20 and 30 USD.
The final price will depend on the technical state of the game and the scope of included features at launch, so we will adjust it accordingly before release to keep it fair and balanced.
What game modes will Ardem offer?
At launch, Ardem can be played in three modes: solo, co-op, and online servers with up to 64 players.
Our long-term goal is to raise the maximum player count to at least 100, allowing server owners to host even larger survival experiences.
What can I do in Ardem?
Ardem is a classic open-world survival game set in a grounded and dangerous world.
You explore, scavenge resources, craft gear, and fight to survive.
The game can be played in first or third person, allowing you to experience the world from the perspective you prefer.
Beyond exploration and survival, Ardem features deep systems such as base building, vehicles, hunting, fishing, and much more, all of which will continue to evolve over time.
How can I support Ardem?
The best way to support us is to join playtests and share your honest feedback.
Head over to our Steam page and request access to upcoming playtests.
There will also be Alpha testing waves that you can apply for.
Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us shape Ardem into the best experience it can be.
What features are planned long-term?
We have a lot in the pipeline. Some of our long-term goals include:
- Modding support, giving the community tools to create their own content.
- Expanding the existing world with new areas and points of interest.
- Adding boats, aircraft, seasons, and a skill system.
We’ll also continue to expand existing systems such as vehicles and weapons with new content over time.
Will Ardem come to consoles?
Our focus for now is to create a stable PC version first.
A console release will depend on several factors, especially the success and size of the player base.
If Ardem builds an active and lasting community, a console version is definitely on the table.
If not, it would not make much sense from a production standpoint.
What does ARDEM stand for?
ARDEM stands for “Artificial Demography.”
It refers to a secret bioweapon project created to solve humanity’s biggest problem — overpopulation.
But the experiment went terribly wrong and turned the world into the desolate, chaotic place you explore in Ardem.
